Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette Training Series: Sexual and Reproductive Health

Session 1: Sexual and Reproductive Health Care & Services
Date:Â September 16, 2pm to 5pm
This session will provide an overview of services related to sexual and reproductive health care. Through interactive discussion, we will identify barriers that community members may face in accessing care and resources and develop skills to reduce stigma and apply health equity frameworks in our work.

Session 2: Sexuality and Gender Diversity
Date:Â September 23, 2pm to 5pm
This session will focus on defining terms related to sexuality and gender diversity and providing support to 2SLGBTQ+ community members in accessing high-quality health care. Participants will learn and practice inclusive language, reducing stigma, and understanding 2SLGBTQ+ sexual health services.

Session 3:Â Pregnancy, Contraception, and Abortion Care
Date:Â September 30, 2pm to 5pm
This session will discuss pregnancy-related care services (including prenatal care, abortion care, resources, etc.). Participants will also review contraceptive options, including vasectomy care services, and practice applying a Reproductive Justice framework to support informed decision-making with their clients.
