Designed for professionals, peer support specialists, CHWs, and THWs, Brain Basics is an interactive training that blends neuroscience with practical tools to illuminate how the brain, body, and nervous system are affected by trauma, substance use, and stress—and how they can heal.
Through videos, guided exercises, and real-life recovery scenarios, you’ll learn how stress affects the brain, how to recognize nervous system states, and how to use simple tools—like grounding and co-regulation—to support emotional safety and connection.
By the end of the training, you'll walk away with a toolkit of trauma-informed strategies to help people feel safe, connected, and ready to heal.

Medication Assisted Treatment and How to Support It
This interactive training introduces Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) as a powerful harm reduction strategy in addressing opioid use disorder. Designed for frontline staff, community health workers, peers, and other support professionals, the session provides practical tools to help you support clients through every stage of MAT.
You’ll gain a clear understanding of what MAT is, explore its core components, and learn how to identify individuals who may benefit from it. We’ll also tackle common myths and misconceptions that can hinder effective care.
Through practical exercises, real-world scenarios, and resource sharing, you’ll leave better equipped to advocate for and implement MAT in your community and organization.

Understanding and Addressing Opioid Misuse: A Practical Training
