We use the popular education approach, which is a collective effort in which a high degree of participation from participants is expected. It is a model where everyone teaches, and everyone learns.

Our training courses are open to all community members of different experiences or backgrounds. Please note specific training courses are tailored to individuals of specific professions. We can tailor trainings by organization, community, workforce, and affinity groups.

Yes. NEON offers continuing education credits for all of our trainings and workshops. Participants can earn CEUs by the hour.

We offer CEUs MHACBO, NASW, SHRM for THWs, CHWs, and Behavior Health. (upon request or depending on training)

We do offer accommodation on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to [email protected], with inquires or requests. 

Trainings and workshops are all virtual so technology technological devices are needed. One person per device will allow for the best participation.

Participants need to have a quiet space to participate in training.

We recommend using a laptop or desktop computer for optimal training experience as our trainings are interactive and involve participation of other software tools.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

NEON, does offer refunds per the stipulations below. 

For registration amounts greater than $100, registrants may request a full refund 2 weeks prior to the training. Within the 2 weeks before the event, 50% will be refunded. No refunds will be given on the day of the training or afterward. 

Credit for training due to not being able to attend can be given with a notification of 1 week before the day of the training and can be used towards the next upcoming training of the same value only. Credit must be used within 2 months; no refunds will be given if the credit is not used within the timeframe.

On rare occasions NEON may have to cancel an event. Refunds will be offered per our stipulations above, or the registrant may choose to attend another training of the same value on another date offered. CEUs will not be awarded for sessions that do not occur or are not attended.

NEON does have scholarships available through specific grants. The current training courses that offer scholarships are: 

• Supervising for Resilience Series
• Workforce Wellness for Mid-Level Leaders series.

Most of our other training courses are heavily discounted for participants.

When available, NEON does work with a few other organizations that offer scholarships to attend our CHW training courses only.

Yes, organizations can pay by invoice as well as set it up to pay for bulk registrants by invoice or by credit card online via stripe invoicing. We do not offer invoicing for payment by check for non-organization individuals.
