Discover how Polyvagal Theory can help you understand the nervous system, promote emotional wellness, and support clients with practical regulation strategies that foster safety, resilience, and connection.
Emotional well-being begins with understanding the nervous system. In this engaging and practical training, participants will explore the foundations of Polyvagal Theory and discover how feelings of safety influence emotional regulation, resilience, and overall wellness.
Through interactive learning and self-reflection, participants will gain tools to identify nervous system states, utilize mind mapping techniques to enhance understanding, and practice evidence-informed interventions that support regulation during times of stress or activation.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to confidently explain nervous system functioning to clients, helping them better understand their responses to stress and build greater self-awareness and emotional well-being.
Participants will learn how to:
- Describe the basic principles of Polyvagal Theory.
- Recognize the important role safety plays in personal wellness and emotional regulation.
- Use mind mapping as a practical tool for self-awareness and client engagement.
- Identify at least three interventions that can help regulate an activated nervous system.
- Explain nervous system responses to clients using clear, approachable language.
