Polyvagal: The Science of Feeling Safe

Join us for an engaging and insightful training that explores the powerful connection between Polyvagal Theory and personal well-being. This session introduces how the autonomic nervous system shapes emotional regulation, social connection, and stress responses, offering a deeper understanding of how your nervous system influences everyday experiences.

You’ll learn why a sense of safety is essential for wellness and how feelings of security directly impact your physiological state. Through the use of a mind-mapping tool, you’ll organize key concepts and strategies that make this complex theory practical and accessible.

Participants will also identify and apply at least three effective interventions—such as deep breathing, grounding exercises, and social engagement techniques—to help calm an activated polyvagal system and restore balance. Whether you are a wellness professional, a frontline worker, or simply seeking to strengthen your own self-care practices, this training provides practical skills and meaningful insights to support a more regulated, resilient, and healthier life.
