This 90-minute online training aims to equip folks with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize the importance of rest and self-care for both them and the communities they serve, while also understanding the role of social determinants of health in shaping individual and community well-being.

Understand the Surgeon Generals framework as it centers the workers’ voice in supporting efforts of well-being.

Identify the influences of SDOH on workplace culture.

Develop an understanding of rest as an empowering form of self-care.

Identify two ways to incorporate rest into the workplace.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
NEON, on rare occasions, may have to cancel an event. Refunds will be offered per our stipulations below, or the registrant may choose to attend another training of the same value on another date offered. You will be notified in the event of a cancellation with details and potential options. CEUs will not be awarded for sessions that do not occur.
For registration amounts greater than $100, registrants may request a full refund 2 weeks prior to the training. Within the 2 weeks before the event, 50% will be refunded. No refunds will be given on the day of the training or afterward. For registration amounts less than $100, 50% will be refunded up to one week before the training date. After that, no refunds will be made.

This training is intended for the certified but not licensed healthcare and social service workforce, which includes Community Health Workers, Traditional Heath Workers, Doula, Peer Support Specialists, Case Managers, Addiction Specialist, Qualified Mental Health Associates, Dental assistants, Dental Technicians, QHAs, and others who serve a rural, culturally underrepresented, or low-income community.
The current posted price point for this training or workshop includes the Wellness at Work scholarship, which is provided by the HRSA Wellness at Work project. This scholarship applies to those who are part of the workforce outlined above. If a registrant isn’t part of the workforce above, they may be contacted after registration and will be offered a choice to either pay the remaining balance of the full training price of $35, or receive a full refund of the price paid for the training or workshop.
