Northeast Oregon Network and The Ohio State Center of Integrative Health is offering virtual small-group sessions teaching community health workers techniques in mindfulness and resiliency for the high-stress environment healthcare can create
Mindfulness in Motion is an 8-week program designed by Maryanna Klatt, Ph.D., Ohio State University College of Medicine, for adults to learn practical strategies for stress reduction.
Sessions meet weekly, for one hour over the course of the 8 weeks. Topics include:
Effective sleeping habits
Mindful eating habits
Individual guided practices
Course registration includes an online workbook and web access to daily audio/video stress reduction practices, and 6 months of emails and practices after you complete the course.
Training date options:
- Cohort 1: January 10, 2023 10-11 AM (Every Tuesday)
- Cohort 2: January 13, 2023 12-1 PM (Every Friday)

Please note this training will be conducted by Ohio State University in partnership with NEON, funded through NEON's HRSA Workforce Resilience Grant. Double registration and data collection will be required, once for NEON grant data collection and once for Ohio State's research program. NEON, on rare occasions may have to cancel an event. Refunds will be offered per our stipulations below, or the registrant may choose to attend another training of the same value on another date offered. CEUs will not be awarded for sessions that do not occur.
For registration amounts greater than $100, registrants may request a full refund 2 weeks prior to the training. Within the 2 weeks before the event, 50% will be refunded. No refunds will be given upon the day of the training or afterward. For registration amounts less than $100, 50% will be refunded up to one week before the training date. After that, no refunds will be made.
